Role Description

We are hiring a Cryptocurrency Trader to support crypto market research, trading analysis, market monitoring, and digital asset intelligence. This is a full-time, paid remote role based in Canada focused on cryptocurrency trading, technical analysis, digital asset markets, blockchain ecosystems, and market strategy.

The Cryptocurrency Trader will monitor cryptocurrency markets, analyze trading opportunities, review market trends, and prepare research materials across digital assets, token ecosystems, stablecoins, DeFi, blockchain networks, and broader financial markets. This role is ideal for someone with strong interest in cryptocurrency trading, blockchain technology, digital assets, market research, and decentralized finance.

Responsibilities

• Monitor cryptocurrency markets, digital assets, trading pairs, exchanges, token ecosystems, stablecoins, DeFi platforms, and broader financial markets
• Analyze price action, liquidity, volatility, trading volume, market sentiment, macroeconomic developments, and crypto market cycles
• Support trade research, market timing analysis, portfolio positioning, risk awareness, and opportunity identification across digital asset markets
• Prepare trading notes, crypto market updates, digital asset summaries, trend reports, and market intelligence materials
• Track developments across crypto exchanges, blockchain networks, decentralized finance platforms, tokenized assets, stablecoins, and Web3 ecosystems
• Review technical indicators, chart patterns, support and resistance levels, market structure, and potential trading signals
• Collaborate with team members on blockchain research, crypto market analysis, digital asset strategy, and market-focused reporting
• Maintain organized market trackers, watchlists, trading notes, asset summaries, research files, and crypto intelligence resources

Qualifications

• Strong interest in cryptocurrency trading, digital assets, blockchain technology, DeFi, Web3, and financial markets
• Familiarity with crypto markets, trading platforms, technical analysis, market data, charting tools, blockchain networks, or digital asset research
• Understanding of volatility, liquidity, market cycles, trading volume, risk factors, investor sentiment, portfolio positioning, and capital flows
• Familiarity with TradingView, crypto exchanges, blockchain explorers, DeFi dashboards, market data platforms, or portfolio tools is a plus
• Strong research, analytical, organizational, and communication skills
• Ability to explain crypto market trends, trade ideas, risk considerations, and digital asset insights clearly
• Comfortable working independently in a remote environment while managing multiple market research priorities
• Previous experience in crypto research, trading analysis, blockchain research, financial markets, fintech, or Web3 projects is helpful

Compensation

Salary range: CAD125,000 - CAD135,000 per year depending on experience
