Intake Coordinator - Part-Time

JOB SUMMARY
The Intake Coordinator, under the direction of the immediate Supervisor, is responsible for timely data entry of all client referrals and updated information. This is a hybrid position with most work being completed from home.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Monitor multiple intake portals for various document types

  • Process documents to appropriate branch within specified time frames

  • Complete data entry with high degree of accuracy

  • Assist with document tracking and workload measurements

  • Participate in client satisfaction initiatives

  • Participate in ongoing internal and/or external continuing education activities

  • Adhere to Bayshore Policies and Procedures

  • Participate in quality activities and continuous improvement initiatives in keeping with the company's Quality Management System

  • Participates in proactive Health & Safety activities while performing all duties. Is responsible to notify immediate Supervisor of any Health & Safety risks or concerns

  • Maintains confidentiality of both client and corporate information, and discusses such information with authorized Bayshore personnel

  • Complete other tasks as requested

Qualifications:

QUALIFICATIONS

Education

  • Minimum - Secondary School Diploma
  • Completion of an Administrative Assistant Program is preferred
  • Medical Terminology is an asset

Experience

  • A minimum of two years related customer service experience, preferably in healthcare
  • Proficiency working in data bases and with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel)

Other Skills and Abilities

  • Exceptional organizational and interpersonal skills
  • Proven ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to meet deadlines and strong commitment to continual learning
  • Demonstrated competency in keyboarding and Windows scheduling software
  • Ability to operate all standard office equipment
  • Ability to speak English is required, the ability to speak French is an asset
  • Minimum 30 w.p.m typing speed required
