Job Title - Manufacturing Engineer I Job Location - 1400 Rue Industrielle, La Prairie, Quebec, Canada, J5R 2E5
Job Description - Onsite 100% Travel requirements: US, France, and Italy (in Oct, end of Nov early Dec and then Feb 2027) Work schedule: M-F (8-4:30) Interviews: 1-2 rounds depending on candidate Interactions and Collaborations Cross-functional collaboration with all departments to ensure accurate interpretation of product specifications. Interaction with other GE units, especially centers of excellence for specific products. Functional support to assembly teams. Exchanges with suppliers and customers to clarify and interpret product technical requirements. Key Responsibilities Coordinate technical issues in production and provide support to controllers and assemblers. Provide technical expertise to bidding, procurement, project management, and production teams. Ensure configuration and parameterization of parts in SAP (BOM, routing sheets, etc.). Actively participate in the implementation of the manufacturing model. Support the investigation of internal & external non-conformities. Assist suppliers with technical aspects of products. Ensure effective liaison with engineering centers of excellence. Serve as a specialist in production-related measurement and assembly equipment. Required Skills and Competencies Excellent collaboration and communication skills. Leadership, initiative, and the ability to influence. Analytical mindset, rigor, and resilience in handling technical challenges. Ability to manage priorities and work in a dynamic environment. Fluency in French and English is mandatory to interact with colleagues, suppliers, and international customers.
