Aircraft Parts Cleaner Code: MMTN / 23262 Salary: $29.96–$35.41 per hour Cleaning of parts manually or machine-assisted throughout the repair and overhaul cycle of Aircraft engine and related accessories. The role is internally defined as Process Cleaner in the organization.

Your Tasks:

  • Performs manual or machine-assisted cleaning of parts throughout the repair and overhaul cycle.
  • Typical tasks include, but are not limited to, the following:
  • Engine Cleaning
  • Parts Washing
  • Plastic beading
  • Flushing
  • Vibratory cleaning
  • Chemical stripping
  • Dry/wet abrasive grit blasting
  • Performs concentration checks on tank solutions
  • Performs shop practice audits to ensure cleaning line is audit compliant, clean and organized.
  • Replenishment of Consumables & Chemicals
  • Other duties as assigned

Our Requirements:

  • Candidate must possess a Grade 12 education with Chemistry as one of the subject
  • Experience of working with chemicals and exposure to personal protective equipment at work will be asset
  • Demonstrated manual dexterity and able to interpret technical instructions
  • Able to perform work on computer systems
  • Able to liaise with other Company personnel in a positive manner and work effectively in a team environment as well as independently
  • Must be able to do shift work (6AM - 2PM & 2 PM - 10 PM).
  • Must be able to work overtime as required

MTU Maintenance Canada Ltd. is an organization that is approved by the Federal Aviation Association (FAA), Transport Canada and other aviation authorities to inspect, maintain, repair, overhaul and test aircraft engines, modules, and components. MTU Canada is a North American member of the MTU Maintenance networks of companies, one of the largest provider of independent commercial engine services worldwide. The Canadian operations base serves in two locations in Delta and Richmond, British Columbia.

The Delta operations facility holds OEM technical data licenses required to maintain, repair and overhaul GE, IAE and CFMI engines: CF6-80, CFM56-2/3/7, F108, F138 and V2500 as well as a variety of other OEM licenses to perform MRO services on engine accessories for these and several other engine types. In 2022, MTU provided maintenance for V2500 and CF6-80 operators and owners and for the F108 and the F138 under USAF contracts.
