Summary
The Ibarmia Machinist will have a strong machining background, competent working on complex components while observing API Quality Management Standards.
Key Responsibilities:

Demonstrate the company’s Core Values

Responsible for ensuring the Health & Safety of themselves and others

Report any safety injuries or incidents that occur immediately and assist in investigations as required
-
Machine components using CNC equipment as per document requirements
-
Set-up and operate machines performing first article manufacturing when required
-
Record measurements and fill out inspection log sheets as required
-
Document and report any deficiencies as per Quality Management Standards
-
Perform routine maintenance tasks on machines as required
-
Liaise with Team Lead to resolve any machining or assembly issues that may arise
-
Maintain a clean and organized work area
-
Ability to run more than one machine when requested
-
Other duties as assigned
Required Skills:
-
Journeypersons Certificate is an asset, however, prior experience as a Machinist is considered
-
Must have experience operating an Ibarmia machine
-
Must be able read and interpret manufacturing drawings
-
Understanding of machine programming and Heidenhain controlsis a requirement
-
API threading experience is an asset

Excellent coordination and mechanical skills

Strong attention to detail

Must be open to continuous learning and improvement
Physical requirements
