About the Role

The Associate Director, Housing Admissions and Occupancy (AD) provides leadership for the overall operations of occupancy management for students and guests. The AD is responsible for the processes, policies, and systems in support of a complex student housing admissions process including applications, offers, billing, assignments, contract administration, information management systems, marketing and communications (website, printed marketing materials and communications), and data analysis. The AD provides leadership for the year-round short stay and for the summer guest accommodations, including processes, systems, and policies. Reporting to the Director, Residence and Housing, the AD is an integral member of the senior management team, providing strategic direction and leadership to meet the goals of the unit and may function as the Director in their absence.

This short-term, temporary, opportunity requires the incumbent to hold excellent knowledge and a high level of proficiency in the use of current housing management software system, database systems, and enterprise level financial systems. They will also need to possess current and excellent knowledge of on-campus housing and community development theories and practices with demonstrated ability to align departmental goals with institutional recruitment and retention priorities.
