We are seeking Project Coordinators and Program Coordinators for contract opportunities at the Bruce Power site through a contract partner. These dynamic opportunities require individuals who thrive in a fast paced and integrated team environment.

The Project Coordinator supports the execution of large-scale, multi-year projects such as nuclear refurbishment or infrastructure upgrades. In this role, you will assist the Project Manager with daily coordination, progress tracking, and stakeholder communication to ensure smooth delivery. This role requires strong organizational skills, technical aptitude, and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with development and maintenance of project schedules, budgets, and documentation.
  • Provide administrative support to the Project Manager and project team.
  • Monitor project deliverables and ensure timelines are on track.
  • Coordinate communication among stakeholders; organize meetings and record action items.
  • Maintain accurate project documentation and prepare status reports and presentations.
  • Track resources and logistics; assist in managing contracts and vendor relationships.
  • Monitor project risks and issues; escalate and support mitigation plans.
  • Ensure adherence with safety, environmental, and quality standards.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience:

  • Four-year university education in a technical or related field, or a college certification in Project Management with relevant experience.
  • Up to 5 years’ experience in project coordination, preferably in the nuclear, energy or infrastructure industry.
  • Familiarity with PMI Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK®); certification by the Project Management Institute (PMI) as a Project or Program Management Professional (PMP, PgMP) considered an asset.
  • Strong organizational, time management, communication, problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Comfortable working independently, managing multiple tasks, and adapting to change.
  • Collaborative, detail-oriented, and committed to continuous improvement.
  • Proficient with project management tools: Primavera P6, Eco Sys, Active Risk Manager (ARM), and Microsoft suite of tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Power BI); quick to learn new tools and technologies.

The Program Coordinator supports the Program Managers and Senior Program Managers in the effective delivery of projects and initiatives within a program area. In this role, you will coordinate activities, resources, and information to ensure alignment across stakeholders and compliance with business and governance requirements. This role requires strong organizational skills, technical aptitude, and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities:

  • As part of a Program Team, support program planning, execution, and monitoring in alignment with organizational standards and values.
  • Develop and maintain reporting systems; analyze data and recommend corrective actions.
  • Coordinate activities across program and project teams to ensure alignment and avoid duplication.
  • Identify inefficiencies and propose improvements to Program Manager.
  • Act as primary contact and subject matter expert for assigned sub-programs and initiatives.
  • Organize and review program documentation for compliance with policies and procedures.
  • Communicate developments promptly to Program Manager; escalate issues as needed.
  • Liaise with internal teams and external partners, ensuring accurate and timely communication.
  • Prepare, attend, and represent the program in meetings; monitor deliverables and deadlines.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives proactively.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Project Management, or related field.
  • 2–5 years’ experience in program/project coordination, preferably in the nuclear industry; lesser experience may be considered.
  • Familiarity with PMI Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK®); certification by the Project Management Institute (PMI) as a Project or Program Management Professional (PMP, PgMP) considered an asset.
  • Strong organizational, time management, communication, problem-solving and analytical skills.
