About the role
Do you have a knack for making first impressions unforgettable? Are you the kind of person who loves meeting new people, lending a helping hand, and being at the heart of the action? If so, the Crystal Lodge wants you on our Front Office team as a Bell Person — the face (and friendly wave!) that greets every guest as they step into the Whistler magical.
As part of our dynamic guest services team, you’ll be the first and last person our guests see - and the one who sets the tone for their stay.
Every day brings a mix of energy, smiles, and surprises! You could be:
- Rolling out the red carpet (sometimes literally!) with warm greetings and big Whistler welcomes.
- Handle luggage with care - tag it, store it, and treat it like it’s your own.
- Help guests find their way around the property and our incredible village.
- Park cars safely and confidently - manual or automatic, you’ve got it handled.
- Keep the lobby sparkling and welcoming, because first impressions matter!
- Store skis, bikes, and snowboards - and keep the gear game strong all year long.
- Be the go-to for questions, directions, and insider tips about the best trails, bites, and views in town.
No two days are ever the same, and that’s exactly why you’ll love it!
What are we looking for...
- A love for people - you’re upbeat, personable, and always ready and wanting to help.
- Experience in hospitality, customer service, or a similar people-first role.
- A safe, confident driver who can handle both manual and automatic transmissions.
- Excellent communication skills - you know how to listen, help, and guide with confidence.
- The ability to multitask and stay calm when things get busy (especially at check-in/ out time!).
- A problem-solving attitude - you don’t just spot issues, you fix them fast.
- Bonus points if you speak another language - we welcome guests from all over the world!
I know you are now wondering, what's in it for me? Well, look no further as this is what the role comes with:
- Work right in the heart of Whistler Village — steps away from the slopes, trails, and all the adventure you can handle! Finish riding and be at work in minutes!
- GolfBC discounts - including the infamous Table 19 at Nicklaus North.
- Extended Health Benefits after three months.
- Team member discounts at Beacon Pub & Eatery
- Team member rates at Crystal Lodge and an annual complimentary stay!
- Winter & Summer Leisure Lifestyle Program
- Staff Bike & Ski Storage
- Monthly team member celebrations for recognition, birthdays and anniversaries!
- Opportunities to grow your hospitality career within The Crystal Lodge
The slightly finer print of the job includes:
- You’ll be on your feet and on the move — this role is active and hands-on.
- Shifts include mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Must be comfortable lifting up to 50 lbs (we promise it’s mostly luggage — not snowboards in July ).
- Some outdoor work is part of the gig — especially greeting guests or handling skis and bikes depending on the season.
If you’re ready to bring your energy, enthusiasm, and exceptional service to Whistler’s iconic Crystal Lodge, we’d love to meet you!
