Az-Zahraa Islamic Academy, a thriving independent school, is seeking a School Counsellor to join our dedicated team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in fostering the holistic well-being of students, staff, and families within the school community. The successful candidate will provide culturally responsive counselling services that address not only mental health but also emotional, social, academic, and behavioral needs. Grounded in Islamic values and teachings, the school counsellor will advocate for students’ needs, build strong relationships, and implement strategies that nurture the overall development of the school community.

The Summer Camp Lead will oversee the daily operations of the summer camp program. This role ensures smooth communication with families, staff, and vendors while managing enrollment, and scheduling. The candidate supports camp leadership by maintaining organized systems and creating a welcoming, efficient environment for campers, parents, and staff. The key responsibilities will be:

1. Maintain accurate camper records, attendance logs, medical forms, and emergency forms.

2. Coordinate camp schedules. calendars, and staff assignments.

3. Serve at one of the primary points of contact for parents and guardians.

The qualifications that are required for the succesful candidate is:

1. Strong interpersonal, communication, and organized skills.

CPR / First Aid certification preferred (or willingness to obtain)

1. High School diploma required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred

2. Ability to work in a fast paced, team-oriented environment
