What You'll Be Doing Duties and Responsibilities
- Inspect, service, and maintain various construction equipment, including (but not limited to) earthmoving, compaction, and aerial work platforms such as telehandlers, boom lifts, and hydraulic platforms.
- Perform preventative maintenance, diagnose equipment malfunctions, and carry out necessary repairs.
- Test repaired equipment to ensure proper operation.
- Maintain accurate documentation of inspections, maintenance, and work orders.
- Adhere to all company health and safety policies.
Requirements And Skills What You'll Bring to the Team
- Heavy Duty Mechanic with at least two years of experience working on construction equipment. Experience in the equipment rental industry is an asset.
- Good organizational skills and the ability to work independently.
- A valid class 5 driver's license with a satisfactory driving record (no more than 3 demerit points).
- Good communication skills and problem solving skills.
