Your Role:
As Branch Manager, you will report to the CEO/VP of Operations and be responsible for coordinating, managing, and optimizing all operational activities at your branches. You will support teams in their daily activities, ensure compliance with processes, and actively contribute to team productivity and company profitability while contributing to the organization’s overall growth.

Your main responsibilities:
Ensure the profitability of branch operations through consistent sales growth in the parts, service, and new truck preparation departments:

Develop an annual business plan for each department and ensure continuous monitoring throughout the year;

Manage branch budgets to meet established financial targets and, in collaboration with the management team, propose an action plan in situations requiring corrective measures;

Regularly review key performance indicators for operations and address issues and opportunities;

Rigorously monitor productivity, efficiency, and customer satisfaction;

Ensure an effective allocation of time across both branches to guarantee that operations run smoothly at all times.

Support the parts and service teams to meet business objectives:

Ensure customer satisfaction across all departments and address customer complaints in collaboration with the management team;

Monitor action plans or results by department on a weekly/monthly basis to ensure that objectives are met;

Be available on a regular basis to discuss strategies for the service, parts, truck preparation, or HR departments with department managers/supervisors;

Participate in the development and monitoring of operational objectives specific to each department;

Provide strategic guidance to managers and supervisors to optimize processes and productivity;

Collaborate in identifying opportunities for continuous improvement in customer service and operational efficiency;

Build strong teams and maximize retention and professional development within your work teams:

Ensure that sufficient staff are in place to effectively cover departments during various operating hours;

Participate in the hiring, training, development, engagement, and performance evaluation of branch staff;

Schedule regular meetings with the management team to keep them informed of branch and company objectives;

Provide ongoing feedback

Desired skills and qualifications:
Post-secondary degree in administration, business management, or a related field;

A minimum of 7 years of experience in a branch manager role and supervising staff in a related environment (dealer, industrial, or commercial) is a plus;

Knowledge of the trucking industry or a related field is a plus;

Intermediate English (French and English) required for the role;

Empathetic leadership, teamwork, adaptability, agility, strong stress management and problem-solving skills, creativity, innovation, independence, and strong communication skills are the behavioral competencies sought.
