Position Summary
As a Shipper & Receiver, you will play an integral role in keeping our operations running smoothly. Your responsibilities will include receiving shipment and allocating them to their designated locations, safely operating equipment to load, unload, move materials, and verify packages against orders and invoices.

Job Description

Receiving incoming shipments and allocating them to their designated storage locations
-
Safety operate forklifts and other equipment to load, unload, and move materials and products
-
Verify packages and materials against purchase orders and invoices
-
Accurately pick, pack, and process orders in a timely manner
-
Prepare shipping documentation, coordinate with carriers, and confirm delivery requirements
-
Communicate with suppliers or shippers to resolve discrepancies and maintain accurate records
-
Assist with maintaining accurate inventory control
-
Maintain a clean and organized workspace
-
Adhere to all company policies and safety procedures
Requirements
-
Applicants successful in the interview process will be asked to complete a pre-employment assessment as part of the final hiring process

Valid Class 5 license, reliable transportation and acceptable driver's abstract
-
Available to work Monday to Friday, with occasional Saturdays as needed
-
Experience operating a forklift and pallet jack
-
Physically fit to perform physically demanding work for extended periods
-
Able to lift at least 50lbs
-
Able to work independently or with a crew
-
Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail
-
Local or willing to relocate to Central Alberta
