Business Systems Analyst (Mainframe)
About the role
Required Skills
8+ years of IT experience, including 5+ years as a Business Systems Analyst supporting Mainframe applications. Strong experience in Data Integration, Data Mapping, Data Analysis, and Data Quality Analysis. Expertise in identifying and resolving data quality issues through root cause analysis. Hands-on experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies. Strong Mainframe knowledge including COBOL, JCL, CICS, DB2, VSAM, IMS, batch processing, OLTP, and file-based integrations. Experience analyzing Mainframe data structures, interfaces, data flows, and business rules. Advanced knowledge of system analysis, enterprise technology delivery, SDLC, testing, and project management. Ability to work independently as a Senior/Lead System Analyst and mentor team members. Excellent stakeholder communication and consulting skills. Banking/Credit applications and Financial Services domain experience are preferred.
