Lawson Lundell LLP is seeking a Corporate Services Clerk to join our corporate group in our Kelowna office. The successful candidate is an enthusiastic and hardworking team player, regular working hours for this role are Monday – Friday, 8:30am – 4:30pm.
Standard Responsibilities:
- Preparing and filing annual reports for British Columbia and Federal corporations
- Preparing extra-provincial annual updates across applicable jurisdictions
- Assisting with the preparation of annual consent resolutions
- Coordinating extensions of dissolution proceedings with the BC Registrar of Companies
- Maintaining and updating virtual minute books
- Updating ALF contact information and preparing required registers
- Conducting corporate and due diligence searches
- Providing day-to-day assistance to the corporate team as needed
Qualifications:
- At least two years of relevant office experience
- Previous experience in a legal environment, ideally in a corporate department
- Familiarity with ALF
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft 365
- Excellent organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail
- Ability to manage competing priorities and meet tight deadlines
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- A team-oriented mindset with the ability to work independently when needed
- A professional, positive, and solutions-focused attitude
The typical salary range for this position is $48,000 - $55,000 annually; the base pay offered is based on location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, internal and market equity.
