About The Role Hunter Scouts is recruiting a Senior RPA Developer to deliver end-to-end UiPath automations for a confidential large professional services client in Toronto. You will lead discovery and deep-dive sessions, design and build scalable, reusable UiPath bots, and work closely with business stakeholders and the client's RPA Centre of Expertise (CoE). This is an opportunity to work across multiple portfolios, improve existing automations, and coach client CoE and citizen developers for long-term success.
Responsibilities
- Lead discovery and deep-dive sessions to assess processes for RPA suitability and prioritize the automation backlog
- Produce and maintain detailed process and solution documentation (work instructions, Story Cards, PDDs, SDDs, Production Support Handbooks)
- Design, develop, test, refactor, and deploy UiPath bots/solutions (Studio, Orchestrator, REFramework)
- Coordinate and support UAT; demonstrate automations in sprint reviews and deliver hypercare support post-go-live
- Enforce CoE development standards, DevSecOps practices and automated testing across automations
- Build reusable, modular corporate and LOB-specific components; fix production issues and support continuous improvement
- Coach and upskill client CoE and citizen developers through paired development and knowledge transfer
- Validate and report benefit realization for deployed automations
Requirements
- Must be located within a 50-mile (80-km) radius of Toronto, Ontario, Canada
- 5+ years of RPA development experience using UiPath and 3+ years delivering full automation lifecycle (discovery, design, development, testing, deployment, hypercare)
- Right to work in Canada without employer sponsorship
- Hands-on experience with UiPath Studio, Orchestrator and REFramework; experience refactoring and stabilizing production bots
- Experience producing and maintaining RPA documentation (PDDs, SDDs, Story Cards, Production Support Handbooks) and facilitating process assessment workshops
- Experience applying DevSecOps/source control and CI/CD practices for RPA (e.g., Git, Azure DevOps) and coordinating UAT
Preferred Skills
- UiPath Certified Professional (Advanced RPA Developer or equivalent)
- Experience with process reengineering, standardization, and enterprise RPA CoE governance and standards
- Familiarity with secure credential management, queue-based processing, exception handling best practices and automated testing frameworks for RPA
- Experience mentoring and upskilling citizen developers and supporting production support SLAs
