Worley is currently seeking an Electrical & Instrumentation Workface Planner for a our BHP Project in Jansen Saskatchewan.
Work Conditions
- Position will be site based. Typically 11 hour shift on site will be 14 days on and 7 days off.
- Camp accommodations provided on site
- Travel allowance provided for work in Saskatchewan.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience working with a 3D modeling program such as SmartPlant 3D or Naviswork is required
- MS Office (Excel and Word) knowledge is required
- On-site field experience in either the Electrical or Instrumentation trade is preferred
- Working knowledge of industrial construction execution is preferred
- Technical school graduate with Electrical &/or Instrumentation discipline experience is preferred
- Must demonstrate an excellent safety-oriented mindset, ability to work independently, and have excellent interpersonal communication skills
- Must be comfortable and capable of effective communicating with on-site construction personnel
Responsibilities
- Your main task will be to extract information from the CWP (Construction Work Packages) and produce design discipline specific FIWPs (Field Installation Work Packages) that have a detailed scope, the latest rev drawings, 3D model shots, confirmed material availability, scaffold and equipment needs.
- Work with the material management team to confirm material status for each FIWP prior to release.
- Work with safety and quality department to identify specific training or special safety requirements for each FIWP
- Proactively develop and maintain a backlog of executable plans
- Support and be an effective contributor on the project bid team
- Perform other duties in as assigned in an efficient manner
