About the role
Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled and licensed Journeyman Plumber to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems in residential & commercial settings. This role requires strong technical knowledge, professionalism, and the
ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities
Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems including pipes, fixtures, water heaters,
drainage systems, and related equipment
Diagnose plumbing issues and provide effective solutions
Interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine layout of plumbing
systems
Perform inspections to ensure systems meet standards and local codes
Cut, thread, weld, and assemble pipes and fittings Test and verify system integrity after installation or repair Work safely and in compliance with all company, industry, and regulatory requirements Communicate clearly with clients, contractors, and supervisors Maintain accurate service and work records Provide guidance and support to apprentices when assigned
Qualifications
Valid Journeyman Plumber certification or license, including Gas Fitting
A Gas Fitting ticket preferred Minimum 3–5 years of plumbing experience preferred Strong understanding of plumbing systems, building codes, and safety regulations Ability to read and interpret technical documents and blueprints Proficient with plumbing tools and equipment Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail Good communication skills and a professional customer-service approach Ability to work independently and manage time effectively Valid driver’s license
Physical Requirements
Ability to stand, crawl, crouch, climb, and lift up to 50 lbs
Comfortable working in tight spaces, varying temperatures, and construction
environments
Compensation And Benefits
Competitive hourly wage $30 – $40 per hour based on experience and industry standards. Benefits package (health, dental, etc.) available after probationary period.
