**Business System Analyst (Permanent)
Location: Port Coquitlam, BC** Staffing Placement Opportunity What You’ll Do

Identify, plan, develop, implement, and champion technical change initiatives.

Act as a key link between supply chain and retail operations teams and the technology systems that support their work. This includes:

Collaborating with multiple business functions and IT teams to develop and implement solutions that improve operational efficiency.

Integrating and supporting enterprise-wide applications to enhance both customer experiences and internal processes.

Leading, planning, and coordinating the integration and implementation of enhancements for various software applications.

Analyze data, identify opportunities for process improvement, and work with cross-functional teams to implement solutions that strengthen retail operations. This includes:
-
Conducting in-depth business process analysis to identify areas for improvement and technology investment.

Developing and maintaining dashboards and reports to track KPIs and performance metrics.

Conducting systems analysis and design activities to deliver technical solutions to business challenges.

Provide actionable insights and recommendations to business partners that drive retail strategies and support ongoing success. This involves:

Evaluating and recommending IT systems, tools, and software that align with organizational goals.

Preparing plans and delivery timelines for project work packages while managing all related tasks.
Do You Fit the Part?
- Diploma or degree in both Computer Science and Business Studies.
- 5+ years of professional development experience within an enterprise environment.
- Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with business partners on new initiatives.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools such as SQL, Excel, and visualization software like Power BI, Tableau, or Qlik.
- Experience in a large-scale retail IT environment.
- Extensive knowledge of IT systems, relational databases, and data analysis.
- Proven ability to identify and understand business problems and translate them into actionable requirements.
- Demonstrated success in solving complex issues with attention to detail.
- Ability to make critical decisions under pressure.
- Knowledge of the retail industry.
- Familiarity with modern retail IT architecture, development practices, and retail business concepts such as advanced inventory planning, merchandising technologies, supply chain technologies, and retail analytics.
- Strong project management experience, with a portfolio showcasing past achievements.
