We are seeking an experienced Senior Interior Designer to lead projects from concept through completion. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about luxury residential design, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and enjoys managing both the creative and technical aspects of a project.
Responsibilities
Lead residential interior design projects from initial concept to final installation. Develop space plans, design concepts, material palettes, and custom millwork details. Produce and review construction drawings, specifications, and design documentation. Prepare client presentations, mood boards, and FF&F (Furniture, Fixtures and Finishes) selections. Coordinate with architects, contractors, consultants, and trades throughout the project lifecycle. Conduct site visits to review construction progress, resolve design issues, and ensure quality standards are met. Mentor and support junior team members while maintaining Studio Crevier's design standards. Manage project schedules, budgets, and deliverables. Source furniture, lighting, finishes, plumbing fixtures, and accessories from leading manufacturers and vendors. Oversee installations and styling to ensure every project is completed to the highest standard. Maintain clear and professional communication with clients, suppliers, and project teams.
Qualifications
6+ years of professional interior design experience, preferably in luxury residential projects. Degree in Interior Design or Interior Architecture. Strong knowledge of construction methods, detailing, millwork, and building documentation. Excellent design sensibility with a refined understanding of scale, proportion, materials, and colour. Proficiency in AutoCAD and Adobe Creative Suite. Experience with SketchUp, Revit, or other 3D visualization software is considered an asset. Exceptional organizational and project management skills. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines. Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail. Professional, polished, and client-focused demeanor.
Requirements
Fluent in both English and French (spoken and written). Must possess a valid driver's licence and have access to a vehicle for site visits and meetings. This is a full-time, in-person position based in Pointe-Claire Village.
