Today is the day to boost your career! Pinchin is seeking a Project Technologist to join our Occupational Health and Safety team in our Richmond, BC
Reporting to the Operations Manager, the Project Technologist will provide occupational hygiene, health and safety consulting services to our valued clients.
A Day in the life of a Project Technologist at Pinchin:
- Conduct worker exposure monitoring surveys in support of occupational hygiene assessments at a large variety of different work sites throughout the province
- Assist with developing various types of health and safety documentation, such as exposure control plans, health and safety programs, policies and safe work/operating procedures (i.e. confined space, fall protection, respiratory protection etc.)
- Prepare technical reports
- Conduct construction safety inspections and audits
- Liaise with clients to ensure needs, goals and objectives are addressed and met
- Build and maintain positive client relationships
What you bring to the Pinchin team:
- Certificate, Diploma, or Bachelor Degree in the Occupational Health Safety or Hygiene (or related) field
- Six months to two years of experience
- Working knowledge (i.e. interpretation) of relevant health and safety legislation
- Strong technical writing and verbal communication skills required.
- Strong client interfacing and customer services skills
- Ability to learn quickly in a fast-paced, multi-task environment
- Ability to work with minimum supervision and execute detailed instructions
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Products
- Vehicle, valid driver’s license, and insurance as travel around the designated region is required
- Availability to work outside our core business hours and weekend rotations
