This role is ideal for a creative and technically skilled photographer passionate about food and beverage imagery. Based in Québec City, you will collaborate with enterprise clients to capture visually compelling photographs of various food items, ensuring each image aligns with the client’s vision and brand standards. You will be responsible for managing photo sessions, incorporating current food styling trends, and delivering high-quality results under tight deadlines. The position offers the potential for ongoing assignments based on performance and client satisfaction.
Deliverables
- Capture and deliver high-resolution images of food and beverage items for enterprise clients
- Plan and execute photo shoots, including setup, lighting, and composition
- Collaborate with clients to understand project requirements and creative direction
- Edit and retouch images to meet professional standards and client specifications
- Stay updated on food photography and styling trends to enhance visual appeal
- Ensure timely delivery of final images and maintain organized digital files
Requirements
- Proven experience in food photography with a strong, diverse portfolio
- Proficiency in professional photography equipment, lighting, and editing software (e.g., Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom)
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to capture visually appealing compositions
- Strong communication and collaboration skills for client interaction
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Based in or able to travel to Québec City, QC for on-site shoots
- Knowledge of current food styling trends and best practices
