Job Summary:
We are currently seeking experienced Equipment Operators for grading work related to curbs, gutters, and sidewalks in Calgary. The ideal candidates will have hands-on experience operating a 190G excavator and be skilled in precision grading for concrete preparation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate a 190G excavator to perform grading work for curbs, gutters, and sidewalks
- Work safely and efficiently on active construction sites
- Collaborate with site supervisors and other crew members to ensure job quality and timelines are met
- Conduct daily equipment checks and report maintenance needs
Requirements:
- Valid Excavator Operator ticket
- Minimum of 1–2 years of relevant experience with grading work
- Experience working around curbs, gutters, and sidewalks
- Strong attention to detail and safety procedures
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Valid driver’s license and own transportation preferred
- Must have steel-toe boots, high-vis vest, and a hard hat
- Legally eligible to work in Canada
