Temporary School Bus Operator (Competition #S2526-0196)
About the role
Wolf Creek Public Schools is actively recruiting a School Bus Operator for a temporary route in Lacombe, Alberta.
- Duties to commence as soon as possible and will continue for the remainder of the 2025/2026 school year
- Applicants must have experience driving a school bus
- Valid Class 1 or 2 operators License
- S Endorsement or MELT 2-S as well as a clean drivers abstract and be in good physical health
- Ability to pass an in-house school bus driver evaluation
- First Aid Certification is strongly recommended but can be obtained through WCPS once hired
- As well, the successful candidate must be able to produce a satisfactory vulnerable sector check (Current within six months)
Lacombe L02 is approximately 70km's and includes Rural and Urban stops.
Training on the route will be provided prior to the start date for this position.
The successful applicant will be eligible for benefits. This competition is open to both within and outside of the Wolf Creek School Division.
