The Role
ZoomInfo is seeking a Sr. Director, Head of Creative to lead and scale the company’s in-house creative organization spanning Design, Motion Design, and Video Production. This leader will build and manage an AI-forward creative team that leverages modern tooling and workflows to produce high-quality visual content at speed and scale. The Sr. Director of Creative will partner directly with GTM Engineers in Residence to produce compelling, technically grounded demo videos that showcase ZoomInfo’s platform capabilities. They will collaborate closely with the CEO and executive leadership on the corporate website experience, ensuring it reflects ZoomInfo’s brand, product vision, and market position. Across the organization, this person will serve as the central creative partner — supporting teams with design requests while establishing systems that protect the team’s bandwidth and morale, including identifying and managing an external agency relationship for overflow work. This is a senior leadership role for a creative executive who can operate at the intersection of brand craft, production velocity, and team health.
What You’ll Do (Essential Functions)
- Lead and develop a high-performing creative team of designers, motion designers, and video production managers — setting the vision, standards, and cadence for creative output across the organization.
- Champion an AI-forward creative culture — integrating AI-powered design, motion, and video tools into team workflows to accelerate production timelines, expand creative capacity, and push the quality ceiling without proportionally scaling headcount.
- Partner with GTM Engineers in Residence to conceptualize, produce, and ship snappy, technically credible demo videos that showcase ZoomInfo’s platform — owning the creative execution while the GTM Engineers provide the technical substance and on-screen talent.
- Collaborate directly with the CEO and executive leadership on the corporate website — driving the design vision, user experience, and visual storytelling that represents ZoomInfo’s brand and product narrative to the market.
- Serve as the creative partner to cross-functional stakeholders across Marketing, Product Marketing, Sales, and People teams — triaging, prioritizing, and delivering on a broad range of design requests while maintaining quality and brand consistency.
- Evaluate, select, and manage an external creative agency to handle overflow and surge work — ensuring the team’s capacity is protected and morale remains high by preventing chronic overload while still meeting business demand.
- Build scalable creative operations — establishing intake processes, project management workflows, brand guidelines, and asset management systems that allow the team to handle volume without sacrificing craft.
- Own the end-to-end video production pipeline — from concept and scripting through post-production and distribution — for product demos, social content, event assets, and corporate communications.
- Recruit, mentor, and retain top creative talent — fostering a team culture that values craft, speed, experimentation with AI tools, and mutual accountability.
- Comply with all applicable Company policies and procedures.
- Regular and consistent attendance, including in-person attendance where required.
- Other work as assigned by your manager or leadership.
- The information in this job description represents a summary of the role and is not intended to be a comprehensive list of job duties. Responsibilities and duties of the position may change without notice at the Company’s discretion.
What You Bring (Required Qualifications)
- 10+ years of experience in creative roles with at least 5 years in a leadership position managing multi-disciplinary teams (design, motion, video). Experience in B2B SaaS or technology companies strongly preferred.
- Deep expertise across visual design, motion graphics, and video production — with a portfolio that demonstrates both brand-level craft and high-volume, fast-turnaround execution.
- Demonstrated fluency with AI-powered creative tools (e.g., Midjourney, Runway, Adobe Firefly, Sora, or equivalent) and a clear point of view on how AI should augment — not replace — human creative judgment.
- Experience producing product demo and explainer video content — ideally in partnership with technical subject-matter experts or solutions engineers. Comfort directing non-actors on camera is essential.
- Track record of partnering with C-level executives on high-visibility brand and web initiatives. Ability to translate executive vision into tangible creative output with minimal friction.
- Proven ability to build and manage agency relationships — including vendor selection, scope definition, quality oversight, and budget management for creative overflow and specialized projects.
- Strong operational instincts — experience implementing creative intake systems, project management tools, and workload balancing frameworks that protect team health while delivering at scale.
- Exceptional people leadership — a reputation for building teams where talented creatives want to stay, grow, and do their best work. High EQ, clear communication, and a bias toward empowerment over micromanagement.
Working Conditions (Physical Requirements)
Normal office or hybrid environment. Some travel may be required for video shoots, events, and agency onsite meetings.
Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of this job.
