You are: An experienced DevOps Engineer with hands-on experience designing, automating, and optimizing the CI/CD and operational processes that support modern data platforms built on Azure Data Services and Azure Databricks. You have collaborated closely with data engineers, cloud architects, and analytics teams to ensure smooth integration, automated deployments, and effective monitoring of data pipelines, clusters, and supporting resources across development, test, and production environments.

Key Responsibilities:- Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for Databricks notebooks, data pipelines, and Azure data services using tools like Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or similar.

  • Optimize data workflow performance and scalability, working closely with data engineering teams.

  • Automate operational tasks including cluster provisioning, secrets management, configuration management, and environment standardization.

  • Ensure security, compliance, and governance through RBAC, network configurations, service principals, and secure CI/CD practices.

  • Troubleshoot environment, pipeline, and infrastructure issues, performing root-cause analysis and continuous improvement.

  • This role will require 3 days per week at the local Mississauga office or a client site located in the Greater Toronto Area. What you need :

  • 4-6 years of experience with Azure Cloud Services, especially in data ecosystems (Azure Data Lake, Data Factory, Key Vault, Event Hub, Synapse).

  • A bachelor's degree or college program, usually in computer science, computer engineering, or mathematics.

  • Hands-on experience with Azure Databricks: cluster setup, jobs, notebooks integration, DevOps deployment patterns.

  • Proficiency in CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or Jenkins).

  • Strong skills in Python, PowerShell, or Bash for automation.

  • Experience with Git workflows and repository management.

  • Familiarity with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes) — optional but beneficial. Bonus points if you have:- Exposure to Databricks Terraform provider for workspace automation.

  • Experience implementing Unity Catalog governance at scale.

  • Knowledge of FinOps, cost monitoring, or automated cost optimization for data platforms. Compensation at Accenture varies depending on a wide array of factors, which may include but are not limited to the specific office location,

employment, for roles that may be hired as set forth below.
