We are seeking a Food & Beverage Server to join our team at the Nova Hotel Manning. In this role, you will provide prompt, courteous, and professional service to guests while maintaining the highest standards of hospitality. Key Responsibilities:

• Serve cocktails and menu items efficiently while ensuring a high standard of service.
• Present guests with itemized bills and complete payment transactions accurately.
• Maintain quality control of menu items before serving.
• Upsell menu items to enhance the guest experience and maximize revenue.
• Monitor guest behavior and alcohol consumption to ensure a safe environment.
• Follow all cash-handling procedures as per hotel policy.
• Maintain a clean and organized service section.
• Occasionally assist the Bartender with drink preparation, garnish preparation, stocking liquor, and other bar-related duties as needed.
• Perform shift side duties as required.
• Ensure guests meet legal drinking age requirements.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

What You Bring:

• High School Diploma (Grade 12) or equivalent.
• A valid ProServe Certificate
• Previous experience in restaurant or lounge operations is preferred.
• Knowledge of restaurant operations, cash handling, and payment systems (MICROS, Global Payment systems).
• Strong customer service, communication, and time management skills.
• Bartending experience is an asset, with potential opportunities to assist in bar service.
