Description Motorcoach Driver Prairie Bus Lines is currently seeking casual Motorcoach Drivers to join our team in Red Deer. Available work includes various charters throughout the province (school field trips, hockey teams, etc.)
Motorcoach Drivers are responsible for safely transporting clients and providing superior customer service. Effective communication skills, patience, and superior navigation skills are all attributes that will help you succeed in this role.
This position offers approximately 10 – 20 hours per week. While hours are not guaranteed, shifts may include days, evenings, weekends, and overnights. Additionally, a meal allowance is provided.
Wage: $22.00 per hour
Principal Duties And Responsibilities
- Operate various charters throughout the provinces
- Drive safely and responsibly; be prepared for all road conditions
- Ensure compliance with Hours of Service
- Pre-and-post trip checks, fueling of the coach
- Complete all applicable paperwork
Knowledge And Skills Required
- Class 1 or Class 2Q driver’s license
- Previous motorcoach experience preferred
- Previous customer service experience
- Organized, punctual, and reliable
- Team player with a positive attitude
- Calm, pleasant, and helpful manner
- Excellent driving skills and habits
- Superior map reading and navigation skills
- Commitment to excellence in customer service
