Job Summary
CapricoXT is a growing technology startup helping restaurants streamline operations, improve customer engagement, and grow their business through innovative digital solutions. We are seeking a motivated and professional Business Development Representative to join our team on a part-time basis. This is a field-based role focused on building relationships with restaurant owners and managers, introducing CapricoXT's platform, generating leads, conducting product demonstrations, and supporting customer acquisition efforts.
The role will initially focus on Downtown Vancouver, with opportunities to expand into other territories as the company grows. High-performing team members may have the opportunity to transition into an Account Manager or Client Success role in the future.
Key Responsibilities Visit restaurants, cafes, bars, lounges, and other hospitality businesses within assigned territories. Introduce CapricoXT's products and services to restaurant owners and managers. Generate and qualify new business opportunities. Schedule and conduct product demonstrations. Follow up with prospective customers through in-person visits, phone calls, email, and social media. Maintain accurate records of leads, activities, and opportunities within the company CRM. Build and maintain professional relationships with prospective and existing customers. Gather customer feedback and market insights to support business growth. Represent CapricoXT professionally and serve as a positive brand ambassador.
RequirementsRequired Qualifications Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong interpersonal and relationship-building abilities. Comfortable approaching businesses and initiating conversations with decision-makers. Professional appearance and demeanor. Self-motivated, organized, and goal-oriented. Comfortable using technology, including email, CRM systems, and web-based applications. Ability to quickly learn new software platforms and tools. Access to a personal laptop for work-related activities. Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
Preferred Qualifications (Not Required) Previous experience in sales, business development, customer service, hospitality, retail, or marketing. Familiarity with CRM systems and productivity tools. Experience with social media platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, or LinkedIn. Access to a personal vehicle for future territory expansion.
Compensation & Benefits $20.00 per hour Performance-based bonuses for successful customer acquisitions Mileage reimbursement for approved travel outside the Downtown Vancouver area Partial internet reimbursement Ongoing training and mentorship Growth opportunities into Account Management and Client Success roles
Schedule Approximately 10 hours per week to start, would increase the hours in future 3–4 shifts per week Flexible weekday schedule Downtown Vancouver will serve as the primary starting territory
