Seasonal Ag. Facility Operator- Fort Saskatchewan
About the role
Crop Management Network Inc. (CMN) in Fort Saskatchewan, AB is hiring a Seasonal Facility Operator to assist with the operational demands of our spring/summer season. As part of the CMN Facility, Maintenance and Environmental (FM&E) Team, you will work in a fast-paced team environment to ensure our equipment, facilities, and warehouses are running as efficiently as possible.
The Facility Operators are responsible to:
- Provide updates on inventory levels;
- Maintain equipment and CMN Assets
- Blend Fertilizer
- Assist with the receipt of product to the warehouse
- Load or assist in loading and unloading of trailer of bulk chemical and fertilizer
- Assist customer pick-up/internal transfers of product
- Ensure the facility is keep clean and free of hazards
- Follow Health, Safety & Environmental policies and procedures
The successful candidate will have:
- Demonstrated ability to work independently
- Ability to be resourceful and proactive when issues arise.
- Must possess good interpersonal and communications skills with the ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships
- Must be able to work in fast paced environment
- Ability to do physical labour and other strenuous physical tasks.
- Workers must be punctual and reliable.
- Able to operate a tele-handler, loader, tractor and/or forklift preferred
- Ability to lift 50lbs
- Has a valid Class 5 Driver's Licence
