About the role

Our business law firm, located across from Sherway Gardens, is hiring a Litigation Law Clerk.

Schedule

Monday to Friday, 8:30 to 4:30 p.m. Option to work from home (subject to confidentiality requirements being met) one day per week after a three-month probationary period is completed.

Remuneration

Salary: $ 60,000.00 per year

What we are looking for

We require a Law Clerk with at least one year of Ontario Small Claims Court experience, attention to detail, a strong sense of initiative, and who enjoys working collaboratively. We prefer applicants to be ILCO certified, although this is not a requirement. Applicants must possess professional-level English to be considered.

The Job

Day-to-day tasks will include

  • Filing correspondence, documents, and pleadings
  • Uploading documents to the Justice Services’ Online Portal
  • Commissioning
  • Transcription of correspondence and pleadings
  • Proactively managing files
  • Organizing documents and pleadings
