CH Site: Glen Eden *Must be willing/able to work at any CH designated area.

Your Opportunity
The primary responsibilities of this position include:
- Complete grounds maintenance at CH parks including snow removal, salting, sanding, etc.
- Operate plow truck and other snow removal equipment
- Complete a variety of maintenance tasks throughout the day which could include travelling between any CH properties
- Ability to support other departments within CH as needed
- Work in accordance with the Conservation Halton’s Safety Policies & Procedures and the Occupational Health and Safety Act and Regulations and all other related manuals.
- Other duties as assigned.
Your Qualifications
- Previous Equipment Operator experience is an asset
- Able to work outdoors in all weather conditions, on varied terrain
- Availability: minimum of 4 days per week, and ability to work flexible hours – variable shifts including overnights, weekdays, weekends, and holidays as needed
- Able to lift up to 40 pounds, stand, and walk for extended periods of time
- A valid Ontario Drivers Licence, minimum Class “G”, with a satisfactory Driver’s Abstract is required. *Abstract completed by Conservation Halton
- Successful candidates must provide own CSA approved safety footwear prior to first day of employment *Partial reimbursement provided in accordance with the Safety Workwear policy
- Successful candidates must provide own safety approved helmet prior to first day of employment *Partial reimbursement provided in accordance with the Safety Workwear policy
- Proficient with Microsoft programs including Word, Outlook, Teams, Excel, and PowerPoint and experience using software programs like SharePoint
- Effective communication skills
- CH parks are not accessible by public transit; candidates should ensure they have reliable transportation
Your Reward
- Starting at $27.02 per hour
- Part time and full-time hours available; hours may vary depending on availability.
- Working hours will vary (daytime and evening shifts) and will include weekends and holidays.
