The Payroll & Subcontractor Administrator position is located in Kitchener, Ontario and reports directly to the Accounting Supervisor.

Your Role And Essential Job Functions Payroll Administration

• Prepare and review weekly unionized hourly payroll;
• Complete monthly union remittances;
• Record and track various labour statistics;
• Liaise with the Health, Safety & Environment team to prepare WSIB incident forms and track safety certificates;

Procurement of Subcontractor Services

• Complete subcontractor pre-qualifications and annual re-qualifications;
• Create, issue, and manage purchase orders for subcontractor services;
• Ensure purchase orders are issued seamlessly and meet the needs of the internal requesters;
• Act with the best interest of Roberts Onsite at all times;
• Other duties as assigned.

Education And Experience Requirements

• Post-secondary diploma or degree in payroll, accounting or related discipline.
• 2+ years of experience in a related position.

Software

• Proficient user of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and Adobe Acrobat
• Jonas Management System for Construction an asset, but will train

The Team You Will Be a Part Of Roberts Onsite is one of Ontario’s largest multi-trade contractors providing high-quality construction services, and turn-key solutions for industrial, commercial, and institutional clients across Southern Ontario. For over 85 years we have been delivering electrical, mechanical, millwrighting, and rigging expertise for all types of building services, and process machinery installations.

The expected salary range for this role is between $45,000 - $65,000 CAD per year. The starting salary will be determined based on several factors such as the successful candidate’s qualifications, including but not limited to education and experience. Base pay is one component of Roberts Onsite’s total rewards package.
