Toronto, Ontario, Canada (Hybrid)
We are currently looking for a Software Analyst Intern to join us for an 8- or 12-month internship at our Toronto office.
Duration: January - December 2026
As a member of a collaborative development team, the individual in this role will work within the Engineering Environment team with key directions on providing development, analysis, automation and testing against the infrastructure available in our organization, in order to support Thales Ground Transportation Systems.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop supporting scripts that will enhance current engineering infrastructure and tools
- Prepare dashboard/metrics that will be used for global business line reporting
- Responsible for customer facing support (Service Desk), based on customers technical issues and requests
- Participate in front end development for our current transformation activities
- Collaborates in wiki community management
Required Skills and Experience:
- The successful candidate should be working towards a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college in Computer/Systems Engineering degree or equivalent
- Fluent in English both in written and oral communication skills
- Able to work full time hours (40 hours) with the start date and the agreed work term
- Knowledge in Web Development. Scripting (Python, Groovy, PowerShell, etc.), automation
- Positive 'can do' attitude - Customer delivery focused
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Virtualization (VMware, AWS, Google Cloud, etc.)
- Experience with JIRA
- Experience with GIT/ BitBucket
- Experience with Artifactory
- Experience with Jenkins / Continuous Integration
This position requires direct or indirect access to hardware, software, technology or technical data controlled under the Canadian Export Control List and/or the US the Export Administration Regulations (EAR). All applicants must be eligible, or able to obtain authorization, for such access.
