About The Role We are seeking a Sales Development Representative to support our growth initiatives. The ideal candidate will will play a key role in driving new revenue by supporting outbound sales efforts, following up on marketing-generated leads, coordinating sales-focused events, and preparing proposals and quotes. This is a unique opportunity for driven individuals who are passionate about sales and eager to contribute to the success of a dynamic quickly growing company.

Responsibilities Sales Administration Support:

  • Support the sales team with performing conflict checks, creating sales deals and quotes, and managing the statement of work process
  • Search RFP websites and government portals for relevant business opportunities

Sales Outreach & Lead Development

  • Conduct outbound prospecting through phone calls, emails and follow-up outreach to generate new business opportunities
  • Perform cold-call and warm-lead follow-ups from marketing campaigns, events and inbound inquiries
  • Assist in building target lists for new offerings and/or outreach
  • Schedule meetings and hand off qualified deals to sales leadership

Proposal And Quoting Support

  • Prepare and customize sales proposals, quotes and presentations aligned with prospect/client needs and company offerings

Sales Operations & Reporting

  • Support sales forecasting and pipeline reporting
  • Monitor outreach activity, conversion metrics and follow-up performance
  • Maintain accurate pipeline activity and contact records in CRM system

Marketing & Sales Event Support

  • Coordinate and support sales-driven marketing events, trade shows, conferences and client engagement activities
  • Assist with pre-event outreach to drive attendance and post-event follow-up to convert leads into deals. Track event leads and ensure timely sales follow-up.

Industry Insights Support

  • Assist in researching industry trends, emerging technologies, and market opportunities to enhance results.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum 1+ years of experience in sales, business development or sales support
  • Formal post secondary training in sales or marketing is an asset
  • Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., HubSpot or Salesforce) and sales productivity tools; Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Strong communication, persuasion and relationship-building skills
  • Experience in legal, professional services or B2B sectors is highly preferred.
  • Self-motivated, and able to work independently in a fast-paced, collaborative, high-growth environment.

Work Environment

  • Toronto, Ontario (downtown office) hybrid
  • Occasional travel or event attendance as needed

The base Compensation range for this role will $60,000-65,000 CAD and will be dependent upon the individual's location, skills, experience and qualifications. In addition to the base pay, this role will be eligible for a commission incentive program.
