This job is full-time permanent.The incumbent will have to develop sufficient knowledge of the financial functions of the teams responsible for Financial Shared Services’ systems in order to support these teams for IT service tickets and projects during user acceptance testing. Job Responsibilities/Accountabilities: - Support Manager, FSS Systems integration with projects impacting Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable and Sales accounting and Rebates team. - Develop sufficient knowledge of the assigned finance functions within the Financial Shared Services support group to support FSS teams in projects- Provide expert functional support, technical leadership and direction as required to ensure business needs are met - Provide advice and system recommendations to business area managers

  • Develop test cases for FSS departments as well as execution of these test cases for User Acceptance Testing- Represent FSS teams at system meetings and provide support with coordination of UAT for RFCs and projects during User Acceptance Testing impacting the FSS teams as well as other finance groups. Key skills:- Uses strong communication skills and has the ability to establish and maintain strong communication channels with key stakeholders- Maintains a strong sense of ownership and a results-oriented attitude toward the successful execution of user accepting testing- Exercises strong initiative, self-direction, and problem-solving abilities to identify gaps and opportunities for improvement- Provides technical leadership in building strong test cases that will ensure systems are working as expected and that business processes and controls are adhered to. Professional Experience/Qualifications: - 3-5 years of related work experience- Bachelor’s degree in accounting preferably - Finance related work as well as experience in user acceptance testing would be preferred- Experience with complex business systems, project planning and control are essential - Ability to apply knowledge of business system modules relating to the finance business areas and maintain an understanding of interdependencies with other modules - Knowledge of SAP and JDE is an asset What we are offering
