Hourly Rate – Competitive hourly rate, commensurate with experience and qualifications
Years of Experience – 5+ years preferred (consideration will be given to strong candidates with relevant foundry experience)

You’re a hands-on, foundry professional who prides themselves on getting moulds right the first time. You understand that good castings start with good moulds, and you don’t shy away from diagnosing issues, adjusting processes, and helping the team succeed.

Responsibilities
No-Bake Moulding
Produce high-quality no-bake sand moulds using supplied patterns and drawings Accurately set up moulds to meet dimensional, quality and production requirements Ensure mould integrity, proper compaction, and correct assembly prior to pouring
Troubleshooting and Problem Solving
Identify and correct mould-related issues such as defects, misalignment, or process variability Work collaboratively with patternmakers, melting, and finishing teams to resolve casting issues Provide feedback on mould design and process improvements
Quality and Safety
Maintain a clean, safe and organized work area Follow all safety procedures and actively contribute to a strong safety culture Inspect moulds and tooling to ensure that readiness and quality standards are met
Requirements
5+ years of foundry experience, with a strong preference for no-bake moulding Proven ability to troubleshoot moulding and casting issues Able to read and interpret drawings and specifications Self-motivated and able to work autonomously Safety-oriented, with a disciplined approach to work Experience working with patterns, mould boxes, cores and rigging Forklift or overhead crane experience considered an asset Team-minded, with a strong desire to support coworkers and production goals
