We’re searching for a meticulous Payroll Specialist (Bilingual) to ensure precise and timely payroll processing while navigating Canadian regulations and supporting our dynamic total rewards functions. If you thrive on details and are eager to contribute to a meaningful cause, this is your chance to shine!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Payroll Operations: Execute bi-weekly payroll with pinpoint accuracy, manage payroll data, conduct thorough audits, and ensure compliance with Collective Bargaining Agreements (CBAs).
  • Payroll System Maintenance: Keep our payroll system up-to-date and assist in system upgrades to enhance efficiency.
  • Total Rewards Support: Be the backbone for our Compensation and Benefits Specialist, helping administer benefits and retirement schemes.
  • Customer and Team Support: Deliver exceptional service to managers and employees, resolving payroll inquiries and collaborating with HR to foster a supportive work environment.

What You Bring to the Table:

  • A university degree in Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 5+ years of payroll processing experience, with a strong emphasis on Canadian payroll.
  • In-depth knowledge of payroll regulations across Canada and proficiency in payroll systems.
  • Bilingualism (English/French) is a must—let’s communicate effectively!
