We are seeking a Project Management Team Leader for one of our clients. In this role, you will lead a technical project management team, oversee infrastructure programs, and shape service delivery at their Cold Lake location. Key Responsibilities
As the Project Management Team Leader, you will ensure the delivery, quality, and compliance of infrastructure and environmental projects while leading a team of professionals. Your responsibilities include:
Team Leadership & Human Resources Management
- Lead and manage direct reports, providing coaching, mentoring, and supervision.
- Allocate resources, manage team performance, and ensure collaboration across the team.
- Provide functional direction and guidance to employees and Client-Partners.
Project & Contract Management
- Lead the preparation, review, and coordination of technical documents, including Statements of Work, engineering specifications, technical drawings, project charters, and consultant contracts.
- Monitor and control project schedules, costs, and deliverables.
- Support procurement planning and coordinate activities of consultants.
Stakeholder & Client-Partner Relations
- Coordinate work with Client-Partner representatives and promote effective communication.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships within the organization, industry partners, and stakeholders.
- Support business development opportunities across infrastructure and environmental programs.
Quality Assurance & Compliance
- Conduct quality assurance activities to ensure deliverables meet corporate standards and Client-Partner expectations.
- Assist in the development of service level arrangements.
Other Duties
- Perform additional duties as assigned to support the team and organization.
Qualifications
Education & Experience
- Minimum: College diploma in engineering, architecture, or a related field, with at least five years of relevant experience, or the equivalent.
- Preferred: University degree in one of the above fields and/or additional training in project management.
Technical Knowledge & Skills
- Best practices, methods, trends, and legislation in real property, environmental services, and construction services.
- Knowledge of financial management, human resources, and project management policies and procedures.
- Proficiency in project and risk management principles and applicable computer software.
Leadership & Competencies
- Demonstrated leadership and human resources management skills.
- Ability to apply project, contract, and risk management techniques effectively.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management abilities.
Eligibility Requirements
- Must be a Canadian citizen or permanent resident.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Reliability Security Clearance.
- Must adhere to the organization’s Code of Business Conduct.
Working Conditions
- Typical office environment with occasional travel.
- Some work may occur at construction sites requiring basic safety equipment.
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary Range: $91,826 – $119,370.
- Comprehensive benefits package valued at 25–30% of salary, including:
- 100% employer-paid health, dental, life, disability, and sick leave coverage.
