About the role
Position Summary The General Dietary Staff assists in the operation of the department by preparing and/or serving food and beverages, by participating in the sanitizing of dishes and utensils used in the service areas, or by operating and cleaning equipment, as assigned. The incumbent conforms to standardized guidelines, policies and procedures of the department and institution. All duties are performed in accordance with the Mission and Values of Providence Healthcare.
Qualifications/Skills Required
- Food Handlers Certificate;
- Ability to perform duties with a minimum of supervision, in accordance with department sanitation, safety and WHMIS regulations;
- Good interpersonal skills in regard to dealing and/or working with people;
- Responsible for the accurate and efficient performance of all duties and responsibilities;
- Very good attendance;
- Good performance record.
