About the role
Your Opportunity: This position supports the management team with unit organization, issues management support, staffing, arranging connect care education for all employees and scheduling (by liaising with the Central Staffing Office), payroll, recruitment support, strategic planning support, committee and project coordination; Connect Care Education for all new employees through the IAM system, responsible for performing administrative and clerical tasks for management to support business functions and operations. Acts as a link between the administrative team members and assists and supports collaboration. variety of safety/quality/regulatory initiatives such as the Continuing Care Health Service Standards Audits, Accommodation Standards Audits, Accreditation Canada Survey. Works with the site management and Clinical Safety Coordinator (CSC) with the completion of their required action plans and with their on-going quality improvement work. The position will have a key role in the support and optimization of Connect Care throughout the site. Please note: Classification under Review.

The Clerk IV performs these tasks in accordance with established standards, and the Mission, Vision, Values, policies and procedures of Covenant Health.
