Full Job Description Job Summary: Our client seeking a skilled and experienced Lead Maintenance professional to oversee maintenance operations within the hotel facility. The ideal candidate must possess a strong background in maintenance and repairs, with expertise in various mechanical and electrical systems. This role requires a proactive leader who can ensure the reliability and efficiency of operations and is responsible for ensuring the proper functioning of all hotel facilities and equipment, performing routine maintenance, repairs, and ensuring guest safety and comfort.

Required Skills And Qualifications

  • Education: A high school diploma or equivalent is typically required; vocational training in HVAC, plumbing, or electrical systems is preferred.
  • Experience: Previous experience in maintenance or repair work is advantageous, with a strong understanding of mechanical and electrical systems.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in using various tools and equipment for repairs and maintenance tasks.
  • Communication: Strong communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members.
  • Problem-Solving: Ability to diagnose issues quickly and implement effective solutions.

Key Responsibilities And Experience

  • Lead and coordinate maintenance activities to ensure optimal performance of machinery and equipment in the hotel facility.
  • Preventive Maintenance: Conduct regular inspections and maintenance of hotel equipment, including HVAC systems, plumbing, electrical systems, and appliances to ensure they are functioning properly and efficiently.
  • Repairs: Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues as they arise, ensuring minimal disruption to hotel operations.
  • Guest Interaction: Address guest maintenance requests promptly and courteously, maintaining a high level of customer service.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including repairs, inspections, and inventory management using computerized maintenance management systems.
  • Safety Compliance: Ensure all maintenance work complies with safety regulations and hotel policies, including fire and health codes. 1
  • Collaborate with team members to enhance analysis skills related to equipment performance and maintenance strategies.
