Position Overview:

The Transportation Analyst drives day‑to‑day execution excellence across store receiving, Distribution Center and transportation workflows by monitoring exceptions, coordinating timely resolution, and delivering accurate, actionable reporting. This role pulls and analyzes data, escalates issues to Distribution Center leadership for investigation, tracks response, and shares resolution with store and field leaders. Beyond operational control, the analyst serves as a subject matter resource for appointment booking platform C3, partnering with the Manager and Customer Service team on process improvements projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Extract receiving exception data from SAP daily into Excel, sort by exception type, and forward same day to Distribution Center leadership or designate for investigation, follow-up, and store feedback.
  • Share feedback from Distribution Center leadership with stores reporting receiving exceptions to ensure timely corrective actions.
  • Attend on-site meetings and regional calls to discuss exceptions, engaging with store and Distribution Center leadership to resolve issues and drive process improvements.
  • Utilize quantitative skills to analyze, validate, manipulate and manage large amounts of data specific to problem solving and trend analysis reporting.
  • Manage calls and email correspondence from both external and internal stakeholders and resolve or refer them as appropriate.

Skills:

  • Detail and task-oriented, self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for clear and collaborative interactions.
  • Skilled at presenting data-driven insights and recommendations to senior leadership in a clear, concise manner.
  • Expert in creating accurate, insightful reports and dashboards; skilled in translating complex data into clear business insights.
  • Highly organized with strong time management skills to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Highly proficient with computer software such as Excel and proficient in Microsoft office.

  • Reports to Supply Chain Customer Service Manager

Travel Requirements:

  • None

Physical Requirements:

  • Working in an office setting, computer work, camera on virtual meetings

Hybrid Work:

  • Independent

Working Conditions:

  • Office 4 days per week with the option of working at home 1 day per week

Minimum Education:

  • Post-Secondary certificate, or degree, is preferred.

Minimum Years of Work Experience:

  • 1 year in a transportation or analytical or reporting role

Other Requirements/Assets:

  • Prior experience with a Transport Management System (TMS system) is an asset
