The Canadian Union of Skilled Workers (CUSW) is currently recruiting Journeyperson Electricians for work with Valard Construction in Jarvis, Ontario.

Duration: 3+ months
Compensation
Total Wage Package: $74.64/hour
Breakdown
Base Wage: $58.58 Vacation & Stat Pay: $5.86 Health & Welfare: $3.75 RRSP Contribution: $6.00
Please Note: There is no Living Out Allowance (LOA) and no travel allowance associated with this project.
Schedule
Monday to Friday 10 Hours per day Hours worked beyond 40 per week are optional but strongly encouraged
Scope of Work
Site cleanup and maintenance Ground grid installation Underground PVC conduit installation Cable pulling (small and large cable) Cable terminations Equipment setting and installation Fence and equipment grounding Substation installation as required
Requirements
Candidates must:
Hold a valid Red Seal Journeyperson Electrician certification Speak and understand English Be prepared to work outdoors Supply their own tools in accordance with the collective agreement Arrive on site with: Safety boots High-visibility vest and/or long-sleeve high-visibility shirt (FR clothing is not required at this time)
