Position Overview
Are you a college or university student looking to pursue a career in management in our region?
We need you this summer for a 14-week full-time position (May through August 2026).
The summer intern will provide support for the governance activities of the Board of Directors and its committees, including preparing documents for the 2026–2027 fiscal year, managing files on SharePoint, and archiving documents.
In addition, they will contribute to the planning and production of governance tools, as well as the monitoring of training and onboarding for board members. They will also support compliance with Ontario Hospital Association and Accreditation Canada standards.
Finally, they will provide logistical and administrative support for key initiatives, such as the Board of Directors retreat and other governance projects (Introduction to Policy Governance training on SharePoint).
This position offers a valuable opportunity to gain practical knowledge and skills in governance, records management, administrative coordination, support for decision-making bodies, and effective communication within a healthcare setting.

- Proficiency in Microsoft 365 (SharePoint, Word, Excel, etc.)
- Interest in governance, public institutions, or healthcare systems
- Attention to detail
- Ability to work independently with guidance.
- You must be bilingual (English and French)
