Payroll Manager - Ceridian Dayforce
About the role
Our client is seeking an experienced Payroll Manager to provide ongoing support for a Ceridian Dayforce implementation that is already in progress. The successful candidate will work closely with the project team to support payroll configuration, testing, validation, issue resolution, and overall implementation activities while ensuring payroll processes remain compliant and operational.
Location: Mississauga, ON (Hybrid – 2 days onsite) Duration: 3-Month Contract
Key Responsibilities Support the ongoing Ceridian Dayforce payroll implementation. Assist with payroll configuration, data validation, testing (UAT and parallel payroll), and issue resolution. Collaborate with HR, Finance, IT, and the implementation partner to ensure project milestones are met. Review payroll processes and recommend improvements where appropriate. Ensure compliance with Canadian payroll legislation and payroll best practices. Support post-implementation stabilization and knowledge transfer as required. Qualifications 5+ years of payroll management experience. Proven hands-on experience supporting or leading a Ceridian Dayforce Payroll implementation. Strong knowledge of Canadian payroll legislation and payroll operations. Experience with payroll testing, reconciliation, and system validation. Excellent communication, analytical, and stakeholder management skills.
