Roles & Responsibilities
Defines the marketing strategy
- Accountable for the growth and profitability targets for the brand
- Defines the marketing strategy as well as the 3-year strategic plan, including innovation
- Accountable for the execution of of marketing strategy
- Identify market opportunities and customer targets through competitive analysis by leveraging IQVIA panel data, positioning, and marketing strategy assessments
- Leads ad-hoc studies and analysis when required
- Analyses sell-in and sell-out available via data sharing from retailers
- Monitors, reviews, and reports on competitive activities
Executes marketing plan with operational excellence
- Lead and oversee the execution of the marketing plan to support the overall product strategy and corporate objectives
- Works with international teams to ensure global strategic goals and objectives are incorporated into all marketing and communication activities, to meet the specific needs of various customer segments.
- Oversee the development and execution of the health care professionals (HCP, CDHF, Dieticians,…) and consumer tactical plans.
- Collaborate with the broker to approve customer account plans, to ensure that they reflect the opportunities in the territory and meet the strategic direction in the Marketing Plan.
- Leads and defines performance metrics of external agencies
- Own the brand dashboard analysis and communicate brand performance results against plan (KPI) to key stakeholders. Provides recommendations for contingency plans, where appropriate
- Provides reporting to headquarters on marketing plan execution
Management Responsibilities
- Direct supervision of one Product Manager
- Supervise and develop collaborators to maximize brand initiatives efforts and promote the brand’s unique selling proposition.
- Evaluate collective and individual performances of team members.
Budget Management
- Defines the marketing budget with the General Manager
- Accountable for meeting budget and all expenses related to the commercialization of the products
- Ensure budgets and schedules meet corporate requirements
Profile
- Minimum 6-8 years marketing experience within OTC, natural health, or consumer packaged goods environment
- Understanding of Canadian regulatory/compliance environment and pharmacy landscape
- Strong project management skills
- Skilled in communication strategies and execution tactics
- Strong analytical and planning skills
- Must possess strong organizational and critical thinking skills
- Experience in digital and print marketing, content marketing, and social media marketing
- Detail-oriented and highly organized
- Ability to work collaboratively
- Results oriented with proven track record of success
- Entrepreneurial spirit
- Strong interpersonal, oral and written skills and the ability to interact professionally in representing Biocodex Canada
- Proficiency in Nielsen / IQVIA panels
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and digital platforms (Meta, GA4)
- Bachelor’s degree and/or MBA required
- Full fluency in French and English (written and spoken)
