About This Position As North Horizon continues to grow, this role is being created to strengthen performance accountability and workforce planning across the organization. Reporting directly to the Director of HR, the position will establish clear KPIs, standardize role expectations, and provide data-driven insights to support effective decision-making and sustainable growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design, implementation, and ongoing governance of the company-wide performance management and KPI framework across all departments.
- Partner with senior leadership and Internal Control to define department-level and individual-level KPIs aligned with business strategy and governance standards.
- Establish standardized role expectations, success metrics, and performance indicators to ensure consistency and comparability across functions.
- Oversee workforce planning and headcount management, including assessing optimal headcount by department, productivity benchmarks, and organizational structure effectiveness.
- Monitor and evaluate whether departments and individual employees are meeting defined KPIs and performance objectives; identify gaps, risks, and improvement opportunities.
- Lead succession planning for critical roles, including identification of key positions, talent readiness assessments, and development plans in partnership with leadership
- Develop and maintain performance dashboards and reports covering headcount, productivity, KPI attainment, and workforce effectiveness.
- Design and oversee people manager capability frameworks, including training managers on performance management, goal setting, feedback, and accountability.
- Provide data-driven insights and recommendations to leadership to support decisions related to organizational design, resourcing, and performance improvement.
- Lead continuous improvement of performance management processes, tools, and reporting methodologies.
- Act as a trusted advisor to leaders on performance management best practices, goal setting, and accountability.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Master’s degree or professional certification (CHRP/CHRL, CCP, or equivalent) preferred.
- 10+ years of progressive experience in HR, performance management, workforce planning, or analytics roles, preferably within investment or banking environment.
- Proven experience designing and implementing enterprise-wide performance management or KPI frameworks.
- Strong understanding of organizational design, workforce planning, and performance measurement.
- Advanced analytical and reporting skills; high proficiency in Excel and experience with HRIS and reporting tools.
- Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence senior leaders and cross-functional partners.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience presenting insights to leadership.
- Proactive, strategic, and solutions-oriented mindset with a strong sense of accountability and discretion.

What We Offer
- Base pay: $120,000 – 140,000
This represents the expected hiring range and may not represent the full pay range for the position. The salary offered may be higher than the posted range depending on several factors such as relevant skills, qualifications, and experience.
