About the role
We're partnering with an established manufacturer that is looking to add an experienced Industrial Maintenance Technician to their maintenance team. This opportunity is ideal for someone with strong mechanical troubleshooting experience who enjoys working in a clean manufacturing environment supporting production equipment.
**Please Note: A 433A Millwright License is not required for this position. Candidates with a strong mechanical maintenance background and manufacturing troubleshooting experience are encouraged to apply.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain a variety of manufacturing equipment to minimize downtime. Perform preventative maintenance on mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems. Diagnose equipment failures and complete repairs efficiently and safely. Install, dismantle, align, and relocate industrial machinery and equipment as required. Read and interpret blueprints, mechanical drawings, and equipment schematics. Repair or replace bearings, gearboxes, conveyors, pumps, motors, cylinders, chains, sprockets, and other mechanical components. Use overhead cranes, hoists, jacks, and other lifting equipment during maintenance activities. Perform routine inspections, lubrication, adjustments, and equipment improvements. Accurately document completed maintenance activities and communicate effectively with production and maintenance teams. Follow all company health, safety, and quality standards.
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum 3 years of experience troubleshooting manufacturing equipment in an industrial environment. Strong mechanical aptitude with hands-on experience maintaining production machinery. Experience working with mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems. Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and blueprints. Comfortable using hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring equipment. Grade 12 diploma or equivalent. Previous experience in manufacturing maintenance, industrial machinery repair, or a related mechanical trade is considered an asset. A 433A Millwright License is not required.
Location: Greater-Toronto-Area, ON
Shift: Straight Days or Straight Afternoons Salary Range: $36-39.00/hr
