Brown's Plus seeking an organized, enthusiastic, and nutrition-minded Cafeteria Manager to oversee daily food service operations. The successful candidate will ensure students receive healthy, appealing meals in a clean, efficient, and welcoming environment. If you are looking to be off during the Christmas holidays, summer and March Break , love being around children this is the perfect job for you.
Job Responsibilities
- Manage daily cafeteria operations, including food preparation, service, and cleanup.
- Supervise and train cafeteria staff; schedule shifts and monitor performance.
- Ensure compliance with PPM 150 program and health unit safety regulations.
- Maintain accurate inventory, order supplies, and manage budgets effectively.
- All necessary paperwork ( sales report, labour report).
- Promote a positive dining experience and support student wellness initiatives.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- ed field preferred)Prior experience in food service management or school nutrition programs.
- Knowledge of food safety standards ( food Handlers certification preferred).
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and maintain a positive team environment.
