Role Overview:

The Manager, Strategic Revenue Growth Management plays a key role in delivering strategic initiatives around trade strategy and promotional effectiveness. This individual will have regular exposure to the Leadership Team and will influence enterprise-wide revenue growth initiatives by developing advanced promotional strategies, optimizing trade investments, and leading cross-functional alignment to deliver profitable growth across the Canadian portfolio. Reporting to the Sr. Manager, SRGM, the successful candidate will possess strong business acumen, strategic thinking, and analytical skills, along with the passion to establish Revenue Management as a strong capability within the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development of national and channel-level promotional strategies that balance growth and profitability

  • Oversee the creation of trade investment guidelines and guardrails to drive consistency and minimize marketplace disruption

  • Partner with Sales and Finance to optimize annual and in-year promotional plans for top customers, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives

  • Drive the evolution and adoption of a performance-based trade architecture, ensuring cross-functional buy-in and executional excellence

  • Maximize net revenue through the value chain by managing price architecture, trade margin management, and optimizing the product portfolio

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement standardized KPI reporting and performance management processes

  • Lead quarterly business reviews to assess performance, identify gaps, and recommend course corrections

  • Ensure governance and compliance with trade investment guardrails, balancing flexibility with financial discipline

  • Lead change management efforts to embed SRGM principles into core business processes

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Advanced analytical and technical skills, including proficiency in Excel, Power BI, Tableau, and syndicated data platforms (e.g., Nielsen, Customer POS)

  • Strong strategic thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills

  • Effective collaborator and communicator across audiences, from training junior team members to influencing senior management

  • Experience with SAP and TPM systems is a plus

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Marketing, Business Administration, or related field; MBA preferred

  • 5+ years of progressive experience in CPG/FMCG, with a strong background in trade strategy, revenue growth management, or commercial analytics
